Industrial mineral site no. 1049, known as "Deer Creek No.1" is a site in Pend Oreille County, Washington. This site has been associated with peat. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 77 says "The area is 200 acres. The maximum thickness of Sphagnum is not reported. The maximum fibrous thickness is 1 foot".
