Industrial mineral site no. 1170, known as "Deer Lake No.2" is a site in Stevens County, Washington. This site has been associated with peat. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 80 says "The area is 38 acres. The maximum thickness of Sphagnum is not reported. The maximum fibrous thickness is 16 feet".
