Summary

Industrial mineral site no. 1237, known as "Chiwawa River (A)" is a site in Chelan County, Washington. This site has been associated with pumice. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 84 says "14 in. of pumice overlain by 16 in. of silt, sand, and a little altered pumice", and designates the value as "Bed too thin for commercial use".
