Summary

Industrial mineral site no. 1242, known as "Chiwawa River (B)" is a site in Chelan County, Washington. This site has been associated with pumice. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 84 says "8 ft. of silt, sand, gravel, and pumice covered by 40 ft. of overburden", and designates the value as "Noncommercial because of excessive overburden and contamination".
