Summary

Industrial mineral site no. 1348, known as "Firman pit" is a site in Okanogan County, Washington. This site has been associated with pumice. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 88 says "Deposit 400 ft.long, 12 in. thick, and covered by 18 in. of overburden", and designates the value as "Operated briefly by George Firman, Okanogan, Wash., in 1946".
