Summary

Industrial mineral site no. 1349, known as "Peterson pit" is a site in Okanogan County, Washington. This site has been associated with pumice. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 88 says "Pit exposes 84 in. of sand and pea-size pumice beneath 18 in. of overburden", and designates the value as "Has been operated by Don Peterson and partners, Tonasket, Wash".
