Industrial mineral site no. 1457, known as "White River" is a site in King County, Washington. This site has been associated with quartzite. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 94 says "Rock resembling quartzite or chert but probably a silicified igneous rock", and designates the value as "Quarried at one time and used in the manufacture of silica brick by the Denny-Renton Clay & Coal Co. Currently operated by Manufacturers Mineral Co".
