Industrial mineral site no. 1544, known as "Alcorn. Lac" is a site in King County, Washington. This site has been associated with sandstone. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 123 says "sandstone containing 2 percent ferric oxide. Washed sample, from which had been removed 19 percent clay with fusion of cone 15, gave fusion at cone 18", and designates the value as "Probably suitable for bottle glass, molding sand, or blast sand ".
