Summary

Industrial mineral site no. 1556, known as "Mowich River" is a site in Pierce County, Washington. This site has been associated with sandstone. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 124 says "Puget sandstone. Unwashed sample gave speckled gray fusion at cone 4", and designates the value as "Probably not commercial".
