Summary

Industrial mineral site no. 1585, known as "Keegan (Dry Gulch)" is a site in Chelan County, Washington. This site has been associated with sandstone. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 125 says "Coarse iron-stained sandstone, with an average clay content of 9 percent, fused at cone 30 on both washed and unwashed samples", and designates the value as "Suitable for amber glass and furnace sand ".
