Industrial mineral site no. 1587, known as "Stemilt School road (A)" is a site in Chelan County, Washington. This site has been associated with sandstone. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 125 says "Softened coarse sandstone, containing 91.2 percent silica, 0.6 percent ferric oxide, and 3.8 percent alumina. Washed sample gave spotted Hght-brown fusion at cone 30 minus", and designates the value as "Possibly suited to furnace or molding use".
