Summary

Industrial mineral site no. 1589, known as "Mission Creek area" is a site in Chelan County, Washington. This site has been associated with sandstone. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 125 says "Composite sample of miscellaneous sandstone. Washed sand, from which 20 percent clay had been removed, gave dark-gray fusion at cone 3", and designates the value as "Probably not commercial".
