Industrial mineral site no. 1667, known as "Scott" is a site in Skagit County, Washington. This site has been associated with talc and soapstone. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 130 says "Largely serpentinized schists, but some are talcose. One lens of soapstone 3 to 4 in. thick", and designates the value as "Exposed quantity too small for commercial use".
