Industrial mineral site no. 1686, known as "C. W. Capps (Mondovi)" is a site in Lincoln County, Washington. This site has been associated with talc and soapstone. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 131 says "Talc of fair grade occurs in calcareous schist. It averages 5 ft. in width over a distance of several hundred feet", and designates the value as "Talc formerly ground and shipped to paper mills".
