Summary

Industrial mineral site no. 1764, known as "English Camp Deposit" is a site in San Juan County, Washington. This site has been associated with limestone and marble. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 52 on page 91-92 says "The limestone at English Camp consists of an outcrop about 100 feet long northeast-southwest and 35 to 40 feet in maximum width. The limestone is light gray in color and dense to finely crystalline in texture", and designates the value as "The depth of the deposit is unknown. The present outcrop contains less than 1,000 tons".
