Industrial mineral site no. 1794, known as "Moran State Park Deposit" is a site in San Juan County, Washington. This site has been associated with limestone and marble. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 52 on page 180-181 says "This occurence consists of a peculiar orange-weathering carbonate rock interbedded in a sequence of argillite, chert, and volcanic rocks. The fresh surfaces of the carbonate are buff colored and have a sugary to dense texture", and designates the value as "The rock is high in magnesium, silica, and iron. The high silica content is indicated by sparks given off from the rock when it is struck with a hammer".
