Summary

Industrial mineral site no. 1866, known as "Halford quarry" is a site in Snohomish County, Washington. This site has been associated with granite and allied plutonic rocks. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 47 says "Light-gray granodiorite", and designates the value as "Formerly Hemphill & McKillop and later Hemphill Bros., Seattle, produced crushed granite from this quarry".
