Summary

Industrial mineral site no. 950, known as "Ames Lake" is a site in King County, Washington. This site has been associated with peat. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 74 says "The area is 10 acres. The maximum thickness of Sphagnum is 14 feet. The maximum fibrous thickness is 1 foot".
