Summary

Industrial mineral site no. 976, known as "Kitsap Lake" is a site in Kitsap County, Washington. This site has been associated with peat. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 75 says "The area is 19 acres. The maximum thickness of Sphagnum is 1 1/2 feet. The maximum fibrous thickness is 19 feet".
