Summary

Industrial mineral site no. 1678, known as "Tumwater Canyon" is a site in Chelan County, Washington. This site has been associated with talc and soapstone. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 131 says "Steeply dipping thick tabular body of soapstone in contact with biotite schist", and designates the value as "Warrants investigation".
