Summary

Industrial mineral site no. 1777, known as "Biendle Deposit" is a site in San Juan County, Washington. This site has been associated with limestone and marble. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 52 on page 138-139 says "The occurence consists of a small lens of crystalline gray limestone interbedded in a massive to poorlt bedded argillite and cherty argillite sequence", and designates the value as "The limestone is of good quality but contains silica as a minor impurity".
