Gridded dataset provides the primary meteorological variables needed for most agricultural and ecological applications. Datasets are being used to paint a more thorough picture of historical climatology. These data also serve as a baseline for downscaling of climate scenarios on an affiliated regional project to study the impacts of climate change on cereal crops in the PNW.
