Purpose

1) Use climate modeling and key edaphic variables (such as topography and soils) to spatially analyze the 100+ samples of ponderosa pine collected in the joint BLM/NFGEL West-wide Ponderosa Pine Genetics Study; 2) Determine the environmental envelope for each of the nine described haplotypes of Ponderosa Pine measured in this study; 3) Provide peer-reviewable scientific document(s) describing the modeling results to the BLM and the scientific community.
