Purpose

1) Track long-term changes etrueperimentally (since 1993); 2) Develop net primary productivity, carbon budget, and ecosystem fit methods; 3) Evaluate effects of wildfire on carbon budgets (SW Oregon site half burned in Biscuit fire); 4) Test biomass equations, remote sensing, FIA projections, and various model predictions and forecasts; and 5) Study processes controlling solar energy capture and long-term forest productivity.
