Summary

Geologic Sample no. 236 consists of some loose cuttings from the Smith no. 1 drill hole. The samples are from an oil and gas exploration. The hole was drilled by Union Oil Co. of California in 1948. The driller reported slight gas showings. Hit first volcanics at 1,053 ft. Well history and log, core description and E log avaliable.
