Summary

Hydrology of Fractured Rocks: My research objectives currently focus on characterizing the heterogeneity of fractured rock properties, and understanding the role of this heterogeneity in groundwater flow, chemical transport, and contaminant remediation. I conduct this research through methods development, field investigations, and numerical modeling. For example, recent research involves numerical modeling of multiple cross hole field aquifer tests in fractured rocks to test hypotheses about the spatial distribution of hydraulic conductivity at different scales.
