Environmental geology reports are generalized and simplified versions of surficial and bedrock geology at an approxmate scale of 1:50,000, prepared for planning and other interests. Conditions are determined chiefly on the basis of surficial materials and include the following maps: •surficial (glacial and recent) deposits •bedrock (except for Environmental Geology #1) •groundwater potential •solid waste disposal conditions •septic tank (sewage disposal) conditions •general construction conditions •sand and gravel reserves
