Summary
In planning conservation and restoration projects, it is helpful to know where and what has been done in the past. Three databases of restoration projects, totaling 451 projects are included in this dataset. These projects were completed in the mid-1990s by the CA Fish and Game Department, US Fish and Wildlife, Bureau of Land Management and the Forest Service. This information is by no means complete, and ideally a database that includes all projects completed in the last couple of decades would be available for an analysis of restoration project prioritization. Restoration projects are often undertaken without an examination of the degree of success of prior projects. Developing sub-basin databases of past and active restoration projects [...]

Developing sub-basin databases of past and active restoration projects should be a priority in the analysis of human impacts on aquatic ecosystems and basinwide aquatic connectivity.
