Summary

This dataset depicts suitable habitat for northern spotted owls on the Umpqua National Forest in Oregon. Suitable habitat is considered nesting, foraging, and roosting habitat. This dataset was originally created in 1995 to reflect harvest and stand conditions on owl habitat at that time. Thist dataset was later updated in 2002 for the Diamond Lake District, and again updated habitat suitability in the Spring Fire burned area.
