Summary

Data set includes three seasons of aquatic amphibian, and two seasons of terrestrial amphibian size, diet, information as well as habitat information from ten stream and riparian sites in the Oregon Coast Range. Data were collected in 2002 and 2003.

Purpose

This data set was developed as part of MS thesis research requirements in conjunction with the Cooperative Forestry Ecosystem Research (CFER) project. Study objectives were to 1) identify habitat characteristics with an emphasis on riparian vegetation associated with the presence of two salamander species and 2) to describediet-habitat relationships, emphasizing riparian vegetation.
