Survey locations for pygmy rabbits on land managed by the State of Oregon in southeastern Oregon. Data were collected in 2004 and 2005, using GPS to determine locations. The data set is an ArcGIS point shapefile using an Oregon Lambert projection

Purpose

The main objective of this survey was document to presence or absence of pygmy rabbits on State Lands in Malheur, Harney, Lake, and Deschutes Counties. Knowledge of the location and extent of pygmy rabbit populations can provide a foundation for the conservation and management of this species in Oregon.
