USGS NWIS Well-Related Aerial Photographs, 1987-1989

This collection (known internally at Maryland Geological Survey as Component 10) consists of 45 black-and-white aerial photographs (45 unique frames). These photographs are 9 in. x 9 in. in size and date from 1987-1989. The Maryland counties covered by these photographs include Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Carroll, Cecil, Charles, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, and St. Mary’s Counties. These photographs were primarily flown or otherwise acquired by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and reference USGS National Water Information System (NWIS) wells. The scale of these photographs is not printed on the photographs; however, Maryland Geological Survey (MGS) calculates the scale to be approximately 1:40,000. Some photographs [...]
