Summary

Rock core in Bruin quadrangle, Elliott County, Kentucky penetrating Pennsylvanian strata. This core is part of the USGS R series. Continuous cores drilled in 1977 within the Princess Coal Reserve District by the USGS as part of the coal resource assessment program. Named after Russell Brant, head of the project.
