AVG_DATA

The files that contain the averaged data have the filename extension .TAV and use the GTF format. The header of the first record indicates the type of instrument the data came from and whether the data have been averaged. If the PROTEM-D digital receiver was used, the header reads "Data from Geonics TEM58 RX. -- AVERAGED"; if the PROTEM analog receiver was used, the header reads "Geonics EMx7 TEM data from PROTEM -- AVERAGED." The data fields of this record are all set to zero. The second record is an HDR record with header fields and data fields as described in tables 2–1 and 2–3 for PROTEM-D data and tables 2–5 and 2–7 for PROTEM data.
