Geologic image in the Kentucky Geological Survey data repository.Image Name: Image Date: 1/1/2001 Category: photo_outcrop Source: Potter, Paul Format: JPG Size (MB): 0.37 Pixel Dimensions: 1884 x 1290 Description: Bioturbated, evenly bedded sandstone in Pennsylvanian Breathitt Formation (Grundy) along north side of I-64. Note shale-filled channel at right. This is the topographically highest point in the area, and therefore the only exposure of these strata in the region.
