Louisville Gas and Electric�s Mill Creek Power Station on the Ohio River is a 1600 megawatt coal-fired plant. The flue-gas desulfurization unit at the plant produces half a million tons of gypsum annually as a byproduct that is shipped by barge to a wallboard plant.
