Picture made from point in forks of Whitewater and south fork of Whitewater Creeks, about 3/4 mile S.E. of "Socorro Mines" power plant. Area is heavily timbered, pines predominating. Much has been sold by Forest Service and has been used as fuel, it being packed out in burros. Handwritten notes on album caption: Catron County Index card: Valley of Whitewater Creek.
