The USGS Soil-Water-Balance (SWB) Model was applied to 644 basins as defined at the level of an 8-digit hydrologic unit code (HUC). Support scripts, model inputs, and model outputs are provided in this archive.

Purpose

This SWB model was developed with the intent to generate current (2000-2013) net infiltration ("recharge") estimates at a 250-m grid cell resolution for all areas within the Glaciated Conterminous United States.
