Summary

An outcrop of the Putnam Hill limestone of the Allegheny Group at the Dover Dam in Fairfield Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio. This area has shale, siltstone, sandstone, conglomerate, limestone, coal, clay and flint lithologies. Bedrock is from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period.
