"Snow Hole Rapids", the worst on the river and impossible to navigate at low water. 20 miles above mouth of river. Handwritten notes on album caption: Grangeville quad., Idaho Index card: Rapids on Salmon Rier 20 miles above its mouth. Idaho County, Idaho. 1911.
