Dartnell, Peter, Rosenberger, K.J., and Storlazzi, C.D., 2018, Bathymetry, acoustic-backscatter, and time-series datasets collected between 2014 and 2016 of a field of crescent-shaped rippled scour depressions in northern Monterey Bay, California: U.S. Geological Survey data release, https://doi.org/10.5066/F71C1W36.
Summary
Time series data of water surface elevation and wave height were acquired for the winters of 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 at the end of Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf in support of a study on the morphological change of rippled scour depressions off Santa Cruz, CA.

The continuous measurements of waves and tides from these instrument deployments, coupled with available meteorological measurements of wind and rainfall, provide information on physical forcing mechanisms responsible for observed morphological change in repeat mapping surveys.
