Album caption and index card: Winkler, Randolph Co., West Va., (Pickens quadrangle), 1915. Triangulation station platform and signal for observation erected in top of tree 67 feet above ground. Timber all cut from nearby trees. Theodolite mounted on separate pole supported on the ground. Photograph by E.C. Moore.
