Summary

Chemical and biological concentration results, quality assurance and quality control and statistical summaries from 26 tapwater samples, collected from paired residential and work place sites in 11 states in 2016. Samples were analylzed at U.S. Geological Survey and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency laboratories.

Purpose

Data were obtained to provide a "snap shot" of potential chemical and biological contaminants an individual may be exposed to from typical residential and work place tap water. Samples were not collected as "first-flush" and are not appropriate to be compared to regulatory guidelines and action levels, however, EPA Maximum Contaminant levels and Goals and Lead and Copper Action Levels are presented for comparison only.
