Album caption: The summit of Mauana Keam 13,784 feet above sea level is the highest point in the upper left. It is the highest point in Hawaii as well as the Pacific Ocean basin. The light colored area in the center of this photograph is a terminal moraine of the ancient Mauna Kea glacier. The cone behind the moraine is Puu Ala elevation 12,590. Photographed from Red Hill triangulation station. 10.25.25. 10:00 a.m. No index card.
