Summary
Aerial view southwest toward Nevershine mesa west of the Grand Wash Cliffs from Snap Point, 9 miles northeast of river mile 277.5. Black band is Snap Point basalt flow, K-Ar age of 9.07±0.8 million years (Ma), that overlie Miocene rocks of the Grand Wash trough and are overlain by Tertiary gravels (Billingsley and Wellmeyer, 2003).
