Purpose

Gravity data were collected to understand crustal density variations that can be related to fault extent and geometry as well as project mapped features, such as plutons, into the subsurface. Density and magnetic susceptibility measurements from rock samples were collected to help constrain modeling of gravity and aeromagnetic anomalies in the Chico and Willows 1:100,000-scale quadrangles, California
