Summary

This data set includes taxonomic data for zooplankton, larval fish, and phytoplankton sampled in Little Holland Tract and Liberty Island Conservation Bank, in the northern Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, California. Zooplankton and larval fish were collected with target specific trawl nets and phytoplankton was collected from water grabs. This data release includes all measured environmental parameters.

Purpose

These data were collected to better understand the effect of tidal flux on the movement of low trophic levels in a restored tidal wetland. This was a short-term study to address very specific research questions. It would be inappropriate to use the data beyond the scope of that effort.
