Summary

Index card: Submerged north shore of Hebgen Lake. The trees, which once outlined part of Lakeside Motel, are now partly buried by the northward displacement of the lake. The house just behind the trees had begun to slip into the lake even as this picture was being taken. View is eastward. Hebgen Lake earthquake, Gallatin County, Montana. August 1959.
