Purpose

The purpose of this study was to determine diets of Striped bass and Sacramento pikeminnow in and around Ryer Island, a tidal wetland in the upper San Francisco Estuary. The overall effort was intended to provide a broad understanding of the physical-biological factors driving habitat use and trophic ecology of Striped bass and Sacramento pikeminnow and their role as predators of native fish species of concern.
