Purpose

These data were collected peripherally in association with a larger study of Grasshopper Sparrow breeding ecology, in an effort to understand the behavior that these birds were exhibiting during days with particularly high temperatures. They are used in the associated, scientific note submitted for publication, primarily to encourage the collection of more robust data in the future to supplement these data.
